Divine Chocolate has announced that Waitrose is adding three Divine 100g bars to their existing range, while Sainsbury’s is adding two. This follows northern retailer Booths’ decision to increase their Divine range by five bars earlier this year.
More flavours of Divine are now stocked in supermarkets than ever before, giving chocolate lovers more opportunities to purchase their favourites from Divine, the only Fairtrade chocolate company also co-owned by cocoa farmers.
From 21 May, Waitrose will be stocking three new 100g bars – 85% Dark Chocolate, 70% Dark with Ginger and Orange, and White Chocolate with Strawberries. This is in addition to the six other lines continuing in store, amongst Waitrose’s highly regarded selection of premium chocolates. The new bars will be available at a special introductory price of £1.49.
From mid-June, Sainsbury’s is increasing their range from three bars to five. Dark chocolate with Raspberries and 85% Dark Chocolate will be joining the existing range which includes 70% Dark Chocolate, 70% Dark with Ginger and Orange, and Milk Chocolate. The increase sees Sainsbury’s continuing their commitment to stock the best range of Fairtrade products.
Earlier this year, Booths added five new lines to their range of 100g bars, increasing the range available to ten. The new bars include Dark Chocolate with Fruit and Nut, Dark Chocolate with Raspberry, Mint 70% Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate with Ginger and Orange, and 85% Dark Chocolate. Divine’s farmer-ownership is in line with Booths’ commitment to supporting farmers, and the retailer now stocks the widest selection of Divine 100g bars.
