This April, a 45p RRP on-pack price promotion is to be launched for the number one preferred chocolate brand in Britain , Cadbury Dairy Milk (CDM).
Single bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel, Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut and Cadbury Dairy Milk Whole Nut will be price-marked at 45p, until stocks last.
The promotion will coincide with the introduction of the new Glass and a Half Full Production – ‘Cocoa Charmer’, offering retailers a great promotional mechanic for Cadbury Dairy Milk at a time of increased awareness and demand for the brand.
The bars will feature a red and yellow on-pack price flash, which will help the promotion to stand out at the fixture and catch shoppers’ attention.

Cadbury Dairy Milk was the first major confectionery brand to achieve Fairtrade certification and has been on shelf in the UK and Ireland since July 2009. The move has quadrupled the amount of Fairtrade cocoa coming out of Ghana, compared with 2008, and will benefit more than 40,000 farmers.
