Yazoo targets men’s market

Photo of 500ml Chocolate DRY smlYAZOO, the UK’s favourite milkshake, announces a brand new sponsorship of the Loaded LAFTAs comedy awards. This new partnership with leading men’s magazine Loaded will target the male 18-30 audience, a core milk shake consumer group.

The Loaded LAFTAS sponsorship is part of YAZOO’s heavyweight £4.5 million 2010 marketing campaign. Along with driving targets to help grow the brand by £10million this year, it will target the young male audience which accounts for 60 percent of the flavoured milk consumer market[1].

The Loaded LAFTAS with YAZOO comprises a main awards event, which will take place in January 2011, and a UK tour organised by the UK’s number one comedy venue Jongleurs.

Kicking off in September this year – visiting London, Portsmouth, Nottingham, Croydon and Glasgow – the tour will, for the first time, include a search to find a comedy star. Following the five regional dates, the best acts will be invited to perform at semi-final dates in October.
