Woolworths is set to close its doors for the final time tomorrow after administrator Deloitte said 200 stores still trading will be kept open a day longer than planned.
Deloitte said the shops will remain open for an extra day to try and sell off remaining stock and for final arrangements to be made.
Another 200 stores that had planned to close last Friday (2 January) also remained open on Saturday for the same reasons.
The firm has been selling off all of its stock in the last few weeks, including the fixtures and fittings.
Woolworths, which is 99-years-old, went into administration at the end of November.
The closures were announced after Deloitte failed to find a buyer for the beleaguered retailer.
