Drinks news in brief


Waitrose is the first UK retailer to take on the latest vintages of La Baume Selection. Brand owner Les Grands Chais de France is introducing the 2002 La Baume Selection White, a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne and Chardonnay, and the 2001 La Baume Selection Red, a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The retail price is likely to be £6.99.
