Waitrose plan to increase sales

Over the next ten years, Waitrose plans to double the size of its business, increasing sales from £5bn to £10bn, according to the IGD.

Waitrose’s managing director Mark Price has reiterated his company’s plans to significantly grow the business over the long term.

This will be driven by range enhancements, new store openings and strategic partnerships such as those formed with Boots and Shell.

The retailer also believes that there is the potential for over 20 stores in the Middle East.
