Waitrose highlights “quality” in adverts

Waitrose has launched a new television advertising campaign that focuses on its traditional quality pledge.

The retailer said that it is “turning the tables” on the recent supermarket price wars and will even highlight its money back guarantee during the promotion.

Various products from Waitrose’s range are set to be included in the campaign that will hit screens tonight (7 October).

According to the outfit, they move should “reinforce” its position as the place where quality food can be purchased.

Managing director Mark Price said that cheaper prices do not always mean that consumers are getting the best deals.

“Our new advertising campaign is designed to remind customers that Waitrose doesn’t cut corners on food quality,” he claimed.

Recently, Waitrose said that it is to open a convenience store in Nottingham.
