Yesterday Waitrose opened its first convenience store in Nottingham, opposite the city’s John Lewis branch.
Here are shots both inside and outside the store, which has a focus on fresh produce including meat, cheese and fish.
Additionally, the venue has a self-service food bar, offering sandwiches, baguettes and meals.
Today, chief executive Mark Price remained optimistic over the future of the retail sector.
