United Biscuits “bids for Mr Kipling”

238266_mince pie 3dUnited Biscuits has made a secret £250m bid to buy Mr Kipling from rival Premier Foods, according to the Sunday Telegraph.

But Premier is understood to have rejected the approach.

Premier and United Biscuits both declined to comment to the newspaper.
