Peter Sandström has joined drinks firm Beam Global UK as marketing director for the UK and Ireland. He was formerly at Diageo, most recently as brand & global innovation director for global duty free.
John Adams has taken up the role of interim CEO of Food from Britain. He was formerly chief executive of the Rural Development Service. Adams succeeds David McNair, who took early retirement in May 2007.
Heinz has made two new appointments to its marketing team. Rachael Munby has joined as marketing controller for Amoy. Most recently she has been with Campbell’s Soups and Jeyes UK. Daniel Winslet, formerly of Bel UK, has taken up the role of marketing manager, overseeing Heinz’s Kids and meals portfolio and with responsibility for introducing new product innovation.
Baylis Logistics, the food and grocery supply chain specialist, has appointed Dean Hulse to the role of group operations director. He was formerly national traffic manager at Baylis.
