Netto reassures customers following contamination

Netto has moved to reassure customers following the find of larvae in its Fresh Chicken Fillets at a Rushden store last week.

A spokesperson from the discount retailer stated that all packs of the chicken have been taken off shelves “as a precautionary measure”.

“We would like to assure our customers that this appears to be an isolated incident and no other products are affected,” they commented.

The individual added that the company is committed to selling the “highest quality” goods and the items in question originated from a grade A EFSIS accredited outlet.
