Mr Kipling recalls Mince Pies after rubber bungle

Manor Bakeries has recalled some batches of its six-in-a-box Mr Kipling mince pies after a production fault led to possible contamination with pieces of rubber.

Product recall notices appeared in the national press over the weekend and point-of-sale notices have been posted in shops.

Manor Bakeries said the fault “has meant that a small number of the products may contain small pieces of rubber in the mincemeat.

For full details of the affected batches, see the Food Standards Agency website.
