Morrisons has won the prestigious Multiple Retailer of the Year for the second time at this week’s Re:fresh Awards – the premier produce industry awards, celebrating exceptional UK fresh produce.
The award acknowledged Morrisons achievements over the last 12 months with regard to their quality and fresh British produce and the fact that care is taken to source local and seasonal produce wherever possible.
Jane Speakman, Morrisons fresh food trading director, said: “We are extremely proud to win this award, especially for the second time. Fresh produce is an extremely important part of our Market Street concept and as such, we invest a lot of time and effort ensuring it’s what our customers want, this award is fantastic recognition for us.”
