Coming after Farmhouse Potato Bakers revealed that its Bannisters’ Farm products are proving popular at Morrisons, the supermarket is set to take advantage of 23 local producers, with goods ranging from soups to pickles and cheese.

And all these are members of Heart of England Fine Foods (Heff).

General manager of the new Morrisons store in Kidderminster Lucy Denton remarked that this is a “major commitment” for the organisation.

She said: “I’m sure our shoppers across the region will love the new range, and I’m delighted to launch this as part of our opening day here at Kidderminster.”

Trade development manager at Heff Rachel Kitto added that Morrisons’ requirements for a “single order and delivery system” can be met as a result of the partnership.
