Schools will be able to collect vouchers at the supermarket under the initiative and then trade them in for gardening equipment.
The move is being delivered after Morrisons conducted a survey and found that 10% of children are unaware carrots and potatoes can be grown in the garden.
Morrisons is set to reveal its six-month financial results later in the week, and analysts have said that it is expected to perform well.
It also recently said that it will lower the prices of products in its Asian World Food range for the Ramadan festival.
