Morrisons has unveiled its new-look logo. The redesigned logo is part of the retailer’s brand evolution strategy, first announced in the company’s annual review statement in March 2007.Marc Bolland, Morrisons chief executive, said: “The evolution of our brand identity is a very clear sign of our commitment to a fresher Morrisons. We are making the most of our key strengths of freshness, service and value, to give us strong appeal to shoppers everywhere.”
The new logo will start appearing in stores, on packaging and in advertising from July 2007.
