Morrisons lowers Asian items for Ramadan

Morrisons has said that it will lower the prices of its Asian World Food range as it looks to celebrate the Ramadan religious festival.

From Monday 1 September to Sunday 5 October all products in this range will be 20% lower than they normally are, Morrisons said.

Grocery buyer at the supermarket Suzanne Laverack observed that as Ramadan has an emphasis on food this will be a great incentive for those celebrating.

“This exclusive Morrisons offer means our customers can come to us for the best in Asian World Food – all at incredible prices,” she claimed.

More than 330 lines are now available in the Asian World Food range – including various goods such as oils and rice.

The supermarket also recently unveiled a line-caught tuna strategy.
