Morrisons in fresh flower deal

Morrisons has revealed a new item – the Crunch Bunch – that it said will enable shoppers to spread an element of goodwill during the current economic climate.

The fresh flowers are on sale for £1, the supermarket stated, something it added proves a “commitment” to keeping prices low.

Senior flower buyer at Morrisons Joe Appleyard said that consumers can still access treats at a time when the overall cost of living is growing.

“The bouquet we’ve selected is a simple but beautiful arrangement including Chrysanthemums, Gerberas and a Palm Leaf,” she suggested.

And the move comes as the organisation has also cut a number of other lines, it said, such as household essentials and diesel.
