LMG, the company that operates Nectar, has announced the management team for its new Insight and Communication business. The team is: Tim Collins, commercial director retail; David Buckingham, commercial director FMCG; Mike Poyser, solutions director; Andrew Corroll, analytics director.
Tissue supplier SCA has appointed Chris Bartlett to the role of marketing director UK and Ireland. He was previously with Princes Foods. The move follows the recent transfer of Procter & Gamble’s UK tissue operations to SCA, which sees the addition of the Charmin, Bounty and Tempo brands to SCA’s portfolio, already including Velvet and Handy Andies.
Spadel UK, producer of Brecon Carreg mineral water and Belgian water SPA, has made two new appointments. David Stockley becomes UK commercial manager, while Richard Cook has been promoted to national sales manager. Cook, formerly trade sector manager for retail and food service, will be responsible for a team of five account and regional sales managers and continue to support relationships with key accounts such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Drinks distributor InterContinental Brands has appointed Andy Nash as non-executive chairman. In the past, Nash has worked with companies including Taunton Cider and Merrydown.
Surrey-based New England Seafood has made two appointments to its technical team. Ian Schmid has joined as factory technical manager and Dr Melanie Edinburgh as technical manager, supply base.
