Confectionery will be the focus at the location and the company said that there are numerous businesses operating in this sector in the area.
“We are confident that this will be a great new depot for Hancocks, and the move reinforces our solid, ongoing growth in the confectionery market despite the economic climate – 46 years of trading must count for something,” said chief executive at the company Andrew Hancock.
The company revealed that a “strong selection” of deals are set to be available from the beginning, with a provisional date of 28 September earmarked for the opening.
