Fresh & Easy – the US arm of Tesco – has opened three stores in the Las Vegas area of America.
Chief executive at the company Tim Mason said that Fresh & Easy is “proud” to have opened these latest venues.
“With every store we open, we create more local, competitive jobs and bring quality food at great prices to the neighbourhood,” he said.
Donations are also being made to charity by staff at each of the three new shops.
Profits at Tesco grew by 10% in the first half of the year, it said last week.
