Fresh & Easy is to open an additional 11 stores in the Arizona area of America, the Tesco-owned outfit revealed.
Chief executive Tim Mason said that the company is beginning to change the way people shop in the US, because of the quality of the food.
He said: “We look forward to opening more stores and bringing more great food and quality jobs to neighborhoods here in Arizona.”
Stores are now set to open in Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert, Chandler, Surprise and Peoria.
Earlier this month, the company announced that it is opening three stores in the Las Vegas area of the country.
In September, staff at some Californian stores asked for unionisation.
