A total of 107 Somerfield stores are set to be sold off by the Co-operative Group, which bought them last month.

According to Credit Suisse there is a “unique opportunity” for suitors who wish to get involved in the grocery retail sector, the publication says.
London outlets are among those up for sale in the portfolio, such as the ones in Camberwell, Kentish Town and Tooting.
Most of the large supermarkets are said to be interested in the available branches, including Morrisons and Sainsbury’s, the Daily Telegraph states.
