The Co-operative is introducing a new addition to its Truly Irresistible Indian cooking sauce range.
The tasty new sauce, Murgh Makhani – or Butter Chicken as it is also known – is a “delicately spiced tomato and cream-based sauce enriched with butter, giving the sauce a smooth and silky texture”.
Infused with mildly-spiced smoked paprika and aromatic cardamom, the sauce is a versatile, quick and easy dinner option that’s perfect with chicken, lamb or prawns.
Available in selected Co-operative stores nationwide from 28 July, the new Truly Irresistible Murgh Makhani Cooking Sauce (£2.19), is made from 100% natural ingredients and contains no artificial colours or flavours and no modified starches. The new addition is suitable for vegetarians, as is the whole range.
