Fresh produce has taken centre stage in a new Budgens campaign designed to underline its position as a community retailer and show its commitment to local producers.
The first in a series of product-focused POS material and adverts on Budgen’s fortnightly promotional offers leaflet, Great Local Deals, features home-produced fruit and the statement “English apples and pears taste best picked from local orchards”, together with a money saving offer.
The promotions mark the beginning of Budgens’ autumn campaign as well as British Food Fortnight, of which the supermarket is a major sponsor.
