Coca-Cola GB denies plans to drop Diet Coke ads hunk

Coca-Cola has denied reports it is planning to drop the “hunk” from its Diet Coke Break advertisements.

The company said: “Coca-Cola Great Britain can confirm that there are no current plans in 2008 to drop the hunk from their iconic diet Coke Break advertising campaign.

The ads first aired in 1996, with a new hunk introduced in 2007.

Coca-Cola is currently running the diet Coke break ads in the UK and said it would continue to do so throughout 2008.
