CI Newsagents sells retail portfolio

Channel Islands Wholesale Group (CIWG) has bought 12 retail outlets from Channel Islands Newsagents (CI Newsagents).

Christie and Co acted on behalf of the trading arm of the Guiton Group for the transaction of the stores in Jersey.

Most of the venues are leasehold and are operated under the two formats of rStore and Pickwicks.

"CI Newsagents having previously converted supply to Spar were comfortable with the divestment to CIWG," said associate director at Christie and Co Daniel Bowyer.
