The winners of the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) Achievement Award have been announced by the organisation.
Assistant brand manager at Spar UK Laura Jupp walked away with the winner in the retail category while Ben Wiseman, supply chain graduate at Cadbury, was successful in the supplier category.
Both of the winners are due to represent Britain at the Global Convenience Industry Achievement Awards that take place in Chicago later in the year.
Chief executive at the ACS James Lowman, who handed out the accolades, said that the duo are strong individuals.
"Once again the Achievement Award has unearthed talented people and some great ideas for taking our industry forward. Laura and Ben have identified some important challenges and issues for convenience store operators," he noted.
Jupp and Wiseman also expressed their delight at the developments and said that they will attempt to recreate the win in America.
