Fresh from his recent success in Las Vegas, popular sporting hero Ricky Hatton and WKD presented the final show in the Nuts TV series, ‘Ricky Speaks’, on 14 December.
WKD was the exclusive programme sponsor for the series which began in September.
The live TV shows featured the congenial Hatton and former talksSPORT radio pundit, Dom McGuiness, interviewing Hatton’s celebrity friends and contacts from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Well-known personalities such as Will Mellor, Neil Ruddock and Amir Khan appeared in the early shows, and the series reached a grand finale with guests including the boxer Michael Gomez and stars from the hit TV series, Shameless, appearing in the last show.
Hatton was using the series as a vehicle to showcase his growing skills outside of the sporting arena.
He recently completed a run of successful stand-up gigs and ‘Ricky Speaks’ proved to be a natural progression for the sporting icon. Hatton looks set for as successful a career outside of the ring as in it.
The exclusive sponsorship of the series has been supported by outdoor advertising, radio promotions, press activity and washroom advertising.
