Oakland International plans to create 150 jobs


Redditch based Oakland International Limited has announced plans to create 150 new jobs over the next three years increasing its workforce by a staggering 243% to 255 employees by 2011, with more employment opportunities set to follow.

At a time when many others within industry are looking to lay people off, Oakland is looking to immediately recruit and is actively seeking workers for a range of roles across the whole of the organisation to support its growing customer base.

Dean Attwell, Oakland’s Managing Director, commenting said: “The business has consistently grown over the last 10 years and we envisage strong growth going forward.

Key strategies of investment in energy efficient systems, IT, training and enhanced customer service offer have all continued to help drive forward Oakland’s growth momentum.
