Metropolis International Group Ltd today announces the acquisition of Independent Retail News and Motor Trader publications from Nexus Business Media.
The purchase also includes their associated websites and four award events, The Retail Industry Awards, The Quality Food Awards, The Quality Drink Awards and The Motor Trader Industry Awards.
The Metropolis Publishing group was established in 1994 and specialises in consumer, business and travel publishing alongside public sector contracts and reward and benefit programmes for consumers and private partners.
It currently employs over 150 people and has offices in West London, Croydon, Bolton, Plymouth and New York.
The addition of these two key titles covering the retail grocery and motor industry sectors expands the diversity of the group’s product range and increases the portfolio to eighteen printed titles.
