Caravan, the charity for the UK grocery and FMCG marketplace is delighted to announce a tremendous end to 2007 with another successful Caravan President’s Christmas Carol Concert. ![]() The President's Carol Concert was held at St Luke's Parish Church in Chelsea, with many familiar faces from across the Grocery industry coming together to celebrate the festivities of Christmas and show their support for the final Caravan fundraising event of the year.
A professional choir led the carol singing and the night also saw some inspirational readings from a number of industry leaders including Darren Blackhurst, Justin King, Dave Lewis and Kevin Warren. 2007 saw many fundraising activities for Caravan, which all help contribute to the overall success of the year. The annual Sporting Heroes Luncheon was Caravan's final national fundraiser and was especially significant this year thanks to the launch of the Caravan Achievement Awards at the event. The scheme is designed to provide public recognition to those companies who actively support the charity. Any company who supports Caravan, no matter how large or small, can be recognised with an Achievement Award.
