National Lottery retailers win packages to London 2012 Olympic Games

Camelot has announced the second round of National Lottery retailers to be selected in a special prize draw to win packages to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

And one store even received a visit from double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson who delivered the good news in person.

Jaz Kooner, owner of Costcutter in Glasgow, was one of the 15 winning National Lottery retail outlets. He was selected from over 4,500 stores entered into a prize draw after scoring 10 out of 10 for excellent in-store execution on Rewards+, Camelot’s retailer reward programme. Shirley Robertson visited the store to congratulate Kooner and to present him with details of the prize package.

Rewards+, launched last this year, offers National Lottery retailers the chance to win cash vouchers of £10, £15 or £25 for excellent in-store merchandising and up-selling of lottery products.

And as part of an additional thank you to retailers for helping to raise £2.2bn towards funding the London 2012 Games, they are also being offered the chance to win ‘Gold’ with 240 money-can’t-buy tickets to the Games up for grabs through Rewards+.

The 15 winners revealed this week are the second in what will be four cycles of prize draws, which will take place every eight weeks between November 2011 and May 2012.
