Landmark Wholesale has announced that Raj Krishan has stepped down from his role as senior retail controller.
His decision to leave Landmark Wholesale follows the re-launch of its Lifestyle Express Retail Development Programme which is due to start in the spring of 2010.
Martin Williams, managing director of Landmark Wholesale said: “Lifestyle Express is now the leading Symbol Group within the sector and we thank Raj for his hard work and effort in helping create the foundations of our Retail Group.
“However, in 2010 we have a major change of direction for Lifestyle Express and our Retail Redevelopment Programme. We have a new vision and a comprehensive and well-thought out strategy which will deliver significant results, and requires immense experience and commitment to provide the high standards that our retailers, members and supporting suppliers demand.
“It therefore makes sense to have this clean cut off with Raj and move the project to a fresh pair of hands to deliver our ambitious vision.
“Landmark Wholesale’s Retail Programme has progressed rapidly over the past four years, delivering significant results for its customers and members nationwide. Lifestyle Express is leading the growth of the Symbol Group sector with the group on target to achieve 2,250 store conversions by April 2010.”
Williams added: “Our retail strategy needs to evolve and it is from this position of strength that we will build and grow the future of Lifestyle Express, and we will be looking to recruit a suitable candidate who has the experience, passion and commitment to oversee this growing development and take the group forward.”
