Building on the success of this year’s Budgens cider festival, Budgens and Londis are holding a ‘beer festival’, which will run for three weeks, commencing 25 August.
The campaign will be supported with strong promotional activity, reflecting the current economic environment where consumers continue to be driven by price, looking for value.
The festival will include a variety of strong deals on standard brands, beers of the world and speciality beer within Budgens and Londis stores. There will be market leading consumer deals on premium ales too
The festival deals will be flagged up to consumers in a specific beer festival leaflet and highlighted in store using point of sale kits, including banners, barkers, shelf stripping, header cards, bottle bibs, stack cards and posters.
Willie Hamilton, Budgens and Londis trading director, said: “The beer festival is a massive sales opportunity, with market leading deals. The deals have been specifically created to bring in new customers, whilst satisfying existing ones. It also gives a great platform to promote about the quality of the range and strength of our value offer to Budgens and Londis customers.”
