Booker launches ‘exclusive’ summer offers drive

Cash and carry giant Booker is holding special “Get Set for Summer” events in branches on April 2 and 3.

With the lack of summer for the past two years and current exchange rates, more consumers are predicted to stay at home, so now, said Booker, is the “ideal time” for retailers to start planning for summer.

Showcased throughout the two-day spectacular will be what Booker has to offer to help retailers lower costs, drive their sales and provide a “great service” for their consumers.

This includes retail best sellers, new season long pricing and free multi-temperature delivery, up to seven days at week. Also available during the day will be exclusive promotions.

“Booker is committed to increasing choice, lowering prices and improving our service,” said Steve Fox, director of retail and Premier development at Booker.

“We believe this summer will be great for independent retailers as more and more consumers shop locally.

“Our showcase event on April 2 and 3 is a demonstration of how Booker can help the independent retailer make the most of summer 2009.”
