The product, created at Leckford Estate, Hampshire, will now be available at every one of the supermarket’s 190 outlets.

Waitrose dairy buyer Robbie James claimed that the organisation is once again at the forefront of innovation, which the development proves.

He said: “It’s great for our customers to know exactly where their milk comes from and by sourcing our Traditional Milk from one herd we can take our customers even closer to the origins of their food.”

The company stated that move comes as part of the Select Farm Milk Scheme that attempts to promote an element of sustainability.
