Netto extends opening hours, adds cigarettes range
Discounter Netto has extended its weekend opening hours and launched a cigarette and tobacco range. More than 160 of its 182 UK supermarkets will now be open longer on Saturdays. Selected Netto outlets will stay on until 8.00pm on Saturdays, rather than the previous closing time of 6pm. Ten stores will remain open until 9.00pm on Saturdays. Netto managing director Richard Lancaster said: The move is in response to customer feedback weve had over the last few months. Following recent successful trials, we will also be launching a cigarette and tobacco range to give our customers even more choice, value and convenience. All Netto stores are open until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on Sundays.
