Aldi recalls Cucina Mixed Vegetable Pizza

Friday, 18 April 2008
Aldi has recalled a batch of Cucina Stone Baked Mixed Vegetable Pizza because some BBQ Chicken flavour pizzas were placed in Mixed Vegetable packaging by mistake.

The BBQ Chicken variant also contains a small amount of celery which is not detailed on the Mixed Vegetable packaging, and so presents a risk to those who have an allergy to celery.

The Food Standards Agency has issued an allergy alert on the batch of Cucina Stone Baked Mixed Vegetable Pizza with use by date of 22 April 2008.

Aldi has recalled the affected stock, and relevant allergy support organisations are informing members about the recall.
