Morrisons is seeking a judicial review of the OFT's handling of the milk-price fixing inquiry, it has emerged.

The news follows yesterday’s revelation that Morrisons is to sue the OFT for libel over the way it was implicated in the scandal.

Today’s Financial Times reports that the OFT has confirmed that Morrisons has sought leave to apply for judicial review.

Morrisons strenuously denies any involvement in the alleged cartel.

Others, including Asda and Sainsbury’s, have admitted being involved and have agreed to pay reduced fines.
