Strathmore Foods has announced a series of boardroom changes. Founder Colin Nisbet becomes chairman and will take a step back from the day-to-day running of the business, while co-founder Colin Muir takes on the role of chief executive. Julie Nisbet moves from director to managing director. The company’s portfolio includes McIntosh Chilled Foods and Countryside Frozen Foods.
Hain Celestial, the natural and organic products company, has appointed James Gentle as marketing manager for the newly launched Linda McCartney brand. Gentle was previously at Ferrero, where he held a number of positions, including group brand manager for Tic Tac, Nutella and Kinder Seasonal.
Industry veteran Paul Monk has been appointed chairman of Babylicious, the manufacturer of baby and children’s food. Monk, whose experience includes senior roles at Mars and Golden Wonder, has spent the last three years running his own business, inVentaBrand.

He was formerly managing director of the Spain cluster, which includes France and Portugal. Stordy replaces Adrian McKeon, who is leaving to pursue a new opportunity. UK marketing director Drew Munro has been appointed general manager at Beam’s Horsham-based UK headquarters.
The Federation of Bakers has elected a new chairman, Brian Robinson. Chief executive of the Allied Milling and Baking Group, Robinson’s current responsibilities include Allied Bakeries, Allied Mills, Speedibake and AB Ireland. He replaces Miles Warnick.
Heinz has appointed Louise Radcliffe as marketing director for its infant feeding business. Prior to joining Heinz, Radcliffe worked at Numico.

Orbital Wines has appointed Michael Paul as managing director. He spent the last six months as chairman of Wine Intelligence and Lovethatwine.com. Orbital is also launching a new fine wine division headed by Nick Dymoke Marr.
