Sainsbury's has won 11 medals in the global spirits competition The International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The medal haul included two Gold 'best in class' medals, a further gold, five silvers and three bronzes, more than any other supermarket.
Justin James, category manager for beers, wines and spirits, said: "These medals recognise the hard work that goes into creating our great own brand spirits. We source from the very best suppliers in the world who have a real passion for their product, and working with the experts has really paid off."
These latest medals follow previous success in the International Spirits Challenge 2010 where Sainsbury's won 10 medals, and The Quality Drink Awards 2010 where their own brand spirits came top in three categories.
