Premier Foods remains "on track", its chief executive has said following the announcement that the company saw turnover grow to £1.29bn in the last six months.
 Operating profits at the organisation also grew 10% to stand at £47.8m during the same period, it revealed.
Robert Schofield said that these are exciting times for his firm and a number of changes have been seen recently.
"Now we have commenced the rejuvenation of Hovis, our largest brand, with significant quality improvements and an exciting marketing campaign that starts next month, which we believe will return it to growth," he commented.
A number of other brands are operated by Premier Foods, such as Bisto, Oxo and Mr Kipling.
