Due to the continued growth of my client, fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior Buyer in home seasonal (Christmas/garden/christening/wedding etc) at reputable TV Channel retailer within London!
You will be directly reporting to the Buyer. Your direct reports will be an Assistant Buyer, and Buying Admin Assistant, so essential that you have managerial skills within your similar role.
The main scope of the role is:
*Review range for promotions and make suggestions that will best serve channel, brand and the home department image.
*Ensure the OTB is managed alongside the KPI's
*Influence & implement buying strategy by researching UK and international trends to fit in with the customer and business objectives.
*To undertake ad-hoc analysis and projects to help improve buying efficiencies, in terms of procedures & systems
*Deputise for the Buyer
*Negotiate with suppliers best conditions for the business in terms of product prices and trading agreements.
*Travel to countries In order to review products, design, manufacture and trends
*Managing Assistant Buyer and Buying Admin Assistant
IF you are currently working in a fast paced high street head office environment as either a Junior Buyer or a senior level Assistant Buyer in either Home, Garden, Gifts, Electrical, Wedding or Christening, you could be what my client is looking for!
