P&H wins One Stop stores chilled business

Palmer and Harvey, the UK's largest wholesale distributor, is pleased to announce that is has it has been awarded a £25 million annual contract to supply One Stop Ltd, the retail convenience business, with medium and long life chilled products.

Palmer and Harvey are pleased that One Stop’s vision in extending their chilled range to grow convenience sales is in line with the Palmer and Harvey strategic direction on chilled products.

Having been responsible for the delivery of One Stop’s frozen product over the last three years, this contract win will extend Palmer and Harvey’s remit to encompass the entire long life chilled product requirements across One Store’s entire estate of 507 outlets.

Palmer and Harvey was awarded the contract following a tender process during which the attractiveness of its range coupled with its established history of providing excellent customer service to One Stop acted in the Company’s favour.

Nigel Taylor, Director of Distribution Sales, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this contract. We look forward to working even closer with One Stop and combining our skills and expertise to achieve One Stop’s aim of providing quality products to the rising number of convenience consumers.

“Palmer and Harvey is committed to extending its chilled offering to help our customers meet the demands and derive the benefits of the increasing growth in the convenience sector.
