Payzone wins over 400 new Nisa stores

Source : Payzone UK

Payzone UK, the leading European consumer payments and cash distribution network, has signed a three-year contract with Nisa, the UK's leading member-owned organisation for independent retailers and wholesalers, to offer prepayment services.

The revised contract gives all Nisa stores the option to upgrade their existing terminals to provide Payzone’s full range of services including mobile top up, utility bill payment and gift card services.

So far, over 300 stores have been upgraded, bringing the total number of Payzone retailers within the organisation to 400.

Paul Charmatz, Managing Director of Payzone UK, said: “Payzone is thrilled to have secured another agreement which continues to remove the historical exclusivity from the prepayment utility industry.

“We already provide the Your Kinda Gift service, Nisa's own label gift card, to 300 stores within the organisation and we think the addition of these stores is a credit to our excellent service, range of products and higher margins for retailers. The Payzone network is highly focussed on independent retailers and it is great to have an organisation like Nisa recognise this.”

Adrian Page, Trading Controller at Nisa, said: “We have been pleased with the existing service Payzone has provided our retailers, so it was a natural progression for us to expand the range of services we offer.

“The addition of the full service solution, to our already successful retail offering, will continue to increase our market share across the prepayment sector in general; offering both our retailers and consumers maximum choice.”
