Lebara Mobile signs up new retail partnersLebara Mobile, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator providing low-cost calls to UK ethnic residents, today announced that its SIM card e-top-up is now available at a total of 68,000 top-up terminals nationwide. Retailers including the Post Office, Martin McColl, Budgens, Welcome Break and Phones 4u have had their systems configured to sell Lebara Mobile airtime and in doing so, are benefiting from extra revenues and a greater footfall. Solutions provider partners e-pay, Payzone, and PayPoint were instrumental in bringing these new agreements to market for Lebara Mobile, which launched in the UK in November 2007. "This is a fantastic result for Lebara Mobile. Part of our overall strategy from the outset has been to have strong eVoucher availability to support our SIM card distribution," said Robert Gaskin, UK Country Manager for Lebara Mobile. "This means our growing customer base can gain even greater access and ease of use in topping up their Lebara Mobile SIM cards." Focusing on ethnic communities based in the UK, Lebara Mobile Pay-As-You-Go SIM cards, top-ups and handset bundles give customers the ability to make low-cost national and international calls directly from all standard UK GSM mobile phones. Calls start from as little as 4p per minute to countries including Poland, Romania, Australia, China and the USA.
