Allied Bakeries re-launches convenience stores website

Allied Bakeries has re-launched its trade website for convenience stores at www.localkingsmill.co.uk to help local retailers make bigger profits from bakery.

The new look site includes everything from Point of Sale kits to a Profit Calculator to show retailers how Allied Bakeries can help them to grow their profits by managing their bakery category.

The interactive site also houses Allied Bakeries category management advice including top tips and downloadable planograms to help retailers choose a fixture layout to maximize profits. Full detail of the £40 million Allied Bakeries re-launch is also on the site, showcasing the range of products available to local retailers.

Retailers will also be able to watch the new Kingsmill television advertisements on the site.

Andrew Nicholson, Director of Category at Allied Bakeries comments: “At Allied Bakeries, our extensive research in the Convenience sector has shown us how to make bread easier for shoppers to buy - and easier for retailers to sell. It has also revealed just how important the bakery category is in attracting customers into your store. As a result, we’ve re-launched www.localkingsmill.co.uk to give retailers access to category management advice and expertise with the main aim of helping them to increase sales and therefore profits of their convenience store.”

Retailers nationwide can register at www.localkingsmill.co.uk to access all the information and advice on the site and receive regular news updates.
