Amateur Photographer magazine unveils a new look

Amateur Photographer - the weekly photography magazine - has unveiled an exciting new look for its issue on sale 24 April.

The redesign has been led by newly appointed editor, and award-winning writer, Damien Demolder.

The new Amateur Photographer features a raft of new editorial developments including:
- Modern fonts, fresh, vibrant colours and stunning photography,
- Improved technique and how-to features
- Greater emphasis on practical photographic information
- More accessible camera reviews
- Best in Class product rating system, updated weekly
- Colour-coded sections - making the magazine even easier to navigate

Amateur Photographer has also announced the addition of a range of new contributors, cementing its reputation as the most authoritative magazine in the market including:
- Award-winning photographer Philip Dunn - previously travel photographer for The Sunday Times
- Garry McNamara - senior lecturer of the School of Photographic Imaging, with over 20 years experience in photography and teaching

Damien says: "Amateur Photographer has been the market leader for a long time, however this redesign promises to give our audience a fresher, more modern magazine, with greater technique than ever - without compromising on our heritage as the number one magazine for respected, unbiased product tests."

The 28 April issue of Amateur Photographer is covermounted with a free Technique DVD and is on sale Tuesday, 24 April, priced £2.20.
