Scott Meredith, Trading Controller at GSK, went back to the shop floor to celebrate and support National Independents’ Week.
He spent time at the Londis Store (Ricki’s News) in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, with store owner Vijay Patel.
He served customers redeeming their Daily Mirror NIW vouchers and gave out samples of new Lucozade Alert.
Comments Scott: “GSK is proud to be supporting the My Shop is Your Shop campaign for another year. The experience of working alongside Vijay gave me a good insight into how important this local independent store is for the area. Vijay and his wife do a fantastic job running the store as well as playing a crucial role in the community.”
GSK has supported the My Shop is Your Shop campaign through a 30p off coupon for its Ribena 500ml range exclusively for customers of independent retailers.
The company also supplied free cases of its Lucozade Energy, Lucozade Sport, Lucozade Hydro Active and Ribena products for the many street parties that were taking place across the country to celebrate National Independents Week.
My Shop is Your Shop is part of GSK’s on-going investment in the independent retail sector and the company is committed to driving sales and helping retailers make the most of the soft drinks opportunity in their stores.
